Northampton Jazz Workshop features Seattle based saxophonist and flutist Mark Lewis Tuesday, August 14th, 7:30 to 8:30PM followed by an open jazz jam session until 10:30 PM at the The City Sports Grille at Spare Time Northampton, 525 Pleasant St., Northampton.
Hi All,
Thanks Again to Cindy Scott and Brian Seeger. Great folks playing wonderful music. I promised I would have them back for asparagus season next yer. I guess that's not something they have in New Orleans.
This week we are looking forward to the yearly visit from saxophonist and flutist Mark Lewis. Mark's career started in Washington state, moved to Rotterdam, Holland for many years, then to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he worked with many of my old friends and now back to Seattle. Throughout that time he has written over 700 tunes and played and recorded with hundreds of musicians. Mark loves life and music and is the most positive cat I've ever met and it comes out beautifully in his playing and his compositions. Please join us on Tuesday and stick around for the jam session that immediately follows the concert set. http://marklewismusic.com /bio/
