Northampton Jazz Workshop features their annual Fat Tuesday celebration with Samirah Evans on vocals and Don Anderson on trumpet Tuesday, February 13th, 7:30 to 8:30PM
 followed by an open jazz jam until 10:30 PM at the The City Sports Grille at Spare Time Northampton, 525 Pleasant St., Northampton.

A great sign of the onset of spring is our annual Fat Tuesday concert featuring guest vocalist Samirah Evans (a transplant from New Orleans) and Don Anderson on trumpet. This will be our fifth year of doing this and it's always great music and a real throw down party.  Hope you can make.  http://samirahevans.com

Also, reminder that the Green Street Trio will be baking up the Valley Jazz Divas at the South Hadley Jazz Festival on Sunday, 2/18. Also performing will be the Jeff Holmes Big Band with Dawning Holmes on vocals and some area student band. Please see attached poster. This is a free event.
