Erik is comfortable on all the saxes and many flutes from around the world. Not sure what he will show up with this time but his music is always inspiring and as many of you know, always manages to transcend to some higher plane, a place I love to go. His open mind and spirit matched with his masterful technique always nudges the music beyond the expected. Hi All, We are really looking forward to a nice musical hang with Sheryl Bailey  tomorrow . Sorry to say that drummer Claire Arenius has had a hand injury and will not be able to play. We wish her a speedy recovery and in her place, our good friend and master drummer Bob Weiner will be joining Sheryl, George and I. If you don't know Bob's drumming you will be in for a real treat. Besides working with Harry Belafonte for many years, Bob has authored two books on kit drumming for Afro/Cuban and Afro/Brazilian music and has a rich history of playing with some of the top players in the world today.
