NORTHAMPTON MA JAZZ WORKSHOP Update

Hi All,
We are really looking forward to a nice musical hang with Sheryl Bailey tomorrow. Sorry to say that drummer Claire Arenius has had a hand injury and will not be able to play. We wish her a speedy recovery and in her place, our good friend and master drummer Bob Weiner will be joining Sheryl, George and I. If you don't know Bob's drumming you will be in for a real treat. Besides working with Harry Belafonte for many years, Bob has authored two books on kit drumming for Afro/Cuban and Afro/Brazilian music and has a rich history of playing with some of the top players in the world today. I hope you can join us and, as our friend Ruth is fond of saying; expect the unexpected. -Paul arslanian
